CLIENT
MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE (SHCMS)
Steps House, Inc. has spent the
last couple of years developing a custom Client Management Software Database
program designed to provide a more comprehensive assessment and client information/tracking tool to the counselors and staff. The SHCMS database is
available online, uses a secure server, DoD encryption technology with secure
passwords and can be accessed by approved person(s) who have interests in the
progress of specific Steps House residents. The person(s) who are approved must
have a signed release of confidentiality from the client and must contact the
Steps House administrative staff for more information and approvals. This
program is currently being used by Knox County Drug Court, East Tennessee Board
of Probation and Parole and several other entities in the East Tennessee Area as
a tool to enhance the relationship between Steps House and local service
providers.
