It is time to welcome a brand new contest at Steps House.

Traditionally, we have always promoted the AA Big Book Trivia Contests but soon realized that we also have many men who are members of the NA fellowship. Therefore, we are proud to introduce the 1st ever, NA Basic Text Trivia contest between the men of Valley House and the men of Phillips House. .

This event will begin with a community dnner followed by the contest itself. All sponsors, alumni and residents are invited to attend. The winner of this contest will receive bragging rights as well as a nice 3 foot tall trophy to display in their home. Come join us for some great food, fun and fellowship!

It is that time of year again. Good fellowship, fall colors, cool temperatures and great chili. Time for the annual Steps House Chili Cookoff!.

Quickly becoming a true Steps House tradition, we have always enjoyed the Chili Cookoffs and who wouldn't? Great cooks have always been a staple at Steps and this years proves no different as each of our 27 homes competes for the coveted Best of Steps award and bragging rights for the best chili in our community. All sponsors are encouraged to attend and family members are also invited. .

As per tradition, this event will begin with a community chili dnner followed by the judging itself. Immediately afterwards we will be holding several meetings designed to discuss the importance of Sponsorship in the recovering community. All sponsors, alumni and residents are invited to attend. The winner of this contest will receive bragging rights as well as a nice trophy to display in their home. Come join us for more great food, fun and fellowship!

Come help us celebrate the Holidays in Steps House Style! Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Celebrations for all Steps House residents, Sponsors and Alumni. Delicious meals consisting of Hams, Turkey, dressing and all the fixins' compliment the wonderful fellowship and good times had by all. Don't for get that old Santa himself will be paying a visit this year to all residents who will be remaining at Steps through the Christmas holiday.

Big Ridge State Park Group Camping Area

Come join Steps House for a week of rest, relaxation and recovery at the 20th Annual Steps House Men's Recovery Retreat. Held each year at the Group Camp at Big Ridge State park, we celebrate recovery, life and friendship with a full week of outdoor sports such as fishing, hiking, swimming and boating.

All Steps House residents, alumni and sponsors are invited and encouraged to attend. Please check back here often for updated information. Delicious meals consisting of BBQ, Fish Fry's and burgers compliment the wonderful fellowship and good times had by all. Don't forget that we always give out the Steps House yearly awards and have a special guest speaker for Friday night's bonfire meeting..
